Privacy policy

1. Processing of personal data

When processing personal data, WETAK guarantees compliance with the applicable laws and, especially, with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). The purpose of these regulations is to guarantee and protect public freedoms and the fundamental rights of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Through its web pages or by other means (for example, social media), WETAK sometimes collects personal data. This data shall be appropriate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the scope and the specific, explicit and legitimate purposes for which it is obtained.

The user is free to provide, or not, the data, and with it their consent, that may be asked of them when requesting information or when subscribing to or registering for any of the services offered by WETAK. The user is free to provide their data on this website or on any other platform.

WETAK reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time in order to adapt it to new laws or to changes in its activities.

2. Data collected by WETAK

WETAK collects all the information entered in the application by the user and stores it on its own servers or on the servers of the storage provider of WETAK. As this is a cloud service, storage on the server is a requirement for the operation of the application, which the user accepts.

WETAK also collects data from the connected device through cookies. The user can deactivate cookies in their browser if they so wish in order to prevent WETAK from collecting said information. This information is used to study how the application is browsed and accessed, and to enable its use. The browsing information includes the type of device and its characteristics, location and connection times. Please read our COOKIE POLICY for more information.

3. Quality and purpose

The User who provides personal data is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is true. To this end, the User is responsible for the accuracy of all the data reported and will keep the information provided updated such that it reflects their actual situation. The User will be responsible for any false or inaccurate information provided and for the damages this causes to WETAK or to third parties.

Personal data will be processed by WETAK in order to provide the requested training services to the data subject or to answer the request, suggestion or query made by the data subject.

This data will also be used to conduct statistical surveys of Users that allow improvements to be made to the services provided, as well as to manage basic administrative tasks on the website. Finally, when the collection form also has this purpose and the data subject expressly authorises it, the data can be used to send, even by electronic means, communications about the activities of this entity and promotional information of WETAK. Users may revoke their consent to this at any time.

This same information may be offered or sent to anyone who follows WETAK on social media. The act of becoming a friend or follower implies the user’s authorisation for their data to be processed for this purpose. If users wish to stop receiving this information, or wish to delete their data, they can stop following our profile. In addition, followers on social media can exercise their rights under Law, as indicated in Section 5 of this Privacy Policy, although, since these platforms belong to third parties, the actions of WETAK in response to any Rights exercised will be limited by the functionalities allowed by the social network in question.

The data will be processed on the legal basis of the consent of the person providing said data. This consent may be withdrawn at any time, although this will not affect the legality of any processing done previously. Providing the data is voluntary, but failing to do so will make it impossible to provide the services requested or to answer the request, suggestion or query made. Therefore, providing your personal data for these purposes is necessary if we are to respond to any requests presented through this channel.

The data will be kept for the time needed to provide the service or respond to your request, petition, query or claim and close it out. Subsequently, the data will be stored for communications record purposes, unless you request that it be deleted.

If the User provides a third party’s data, it is their responsibility to inform said party in advance of everything provided for in Article 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

The data will not be disclosed to third parties, unless required by law.

4. Security measures

In order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the personal data provided, WETAK has implemented the technical and organisational security measures that are needed to prevent any unauthorised alteration, loss, processing or access to said data. However, the user must bear in mind that security measures on the Internet, due to its global character and nature, are not impregnable.

For WETAK, security is a top priority. Currently, the data storage service is provided by specialised vendors with security certificates and anti-hacking systems. WETAK has decided to subcontract the storage to ensure that the vendor complies with the strictest security standards, at levels that WETAK could not offer in its own storage servers.

We strive to WETAK and our users from any unauthorised modification, disclosure or destruction of the data we have, as well as from any unauthorised access to it: specifically, we encrypt many of our services using the SSL protocol; we review our data collection, storage and processing policy, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorised access to our systems; we limit the access of contractors, agents and employees of WETAK to the personal information that they process for WETAK; and we ensure that they comply with strict contractual confidentiality obligations and are subject to relevant disciplinary actions or termination if they fail to comply with said obligations. When this Privacy Policy applies. Our Privacy Policy applies to all the services offered by WETAK, except for those services, if any, that are subject to independent privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.

wetak.com website is not aimed at minors. The owner of the website accepts no liability for any violation of this requirement.

5. Rights of the data subject

The owner of the data has the right to access, correct and delete their data, as well as to limit its processing, and to the portability of their data in the cases provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation. If you suspect that your rights have been violated, you can file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Everyone has the right to obtain information on whether or not WETAK is processing their personal data.

Data subjects have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request that incorrect data be corrected or, where appropriate, deleted when, among other reasons, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Under certain circumstances, the data subjects may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only store it for the exercise or defence of legal claims.

The material exercise of your rights can be done as follows: by sending an email to info@wetak.com, duly identifying yourself and specifying which right you wish to exercise.

If you have given your consent for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This shall not affect the legality of any processing that was done prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

6. Access and modification of user data

The user can modify their user data or the accounts they own at any time. WETAK does not store the modified information, meaning once the user modifies or deletes the information, it is lost forever within the application.

Under the conditions laid out by the applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • Request information on whether WETAK has personal data about you and, if so, what the data is, why the Council has it and what it is being used for.
  • Request access to your personal data. This entitles you to receive a copy of the personal data we have on you and to verify that we are processing it lawfully.
  • Request the correction of the personal data that the Regulatory Council has on you. This lets you correct any incomplete or incorrect information in the possession of the Regulatory Council.
  • Request the deletion of your personal data. This lets you request that the Regulatory Council delete or erase your personal data, provided there are no overriding legitimate reasons to process it further. You also have the right to request that the Council delete or erase your personal data when you have exercised your right to object to the processing.
  • Oppose the processing of your personal data when this processing is based on the legitimate interests of the Council (or of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation that makes you want to oppose the processing on that basis.
  • Request the limitation of the processing of your data. This lets you request that the Council suspend the processing of your personal data.
  • Request the portability or transfer to yourself or a third party of your personal data in a structured electronic format. This lets you take the data held by the Council about you in a commonly used electronic format so you can transfer your data to a third party in that same format.
  • Withdraw your consent. In those limited circumstances in which you have consented to the collection, processing and transfer of your personal data for a specific purpose, you have the right to, at any time, withdraw your consent for that specific processing. Once we are notified that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your data for the purpose(s) that you originally accepted, unless we have another legitimate basis to continue doing so in accordance with the law.

7. The data we share

We do not share personal information with third-party companies, organisations or individuals, unless any of the following circumstances apply:

  • Consent: We will share your personal information with companies, organisations or individuals outside WETAK when you give us your consent to do so. Your consent will be required to share specially protected personal data.
  • Legal reasons: We will share your personal data with companies, organisations or persons outside WETAK if we believe, in good faith, that there is a reasonable need to access, use, retain or disclose said information to comply with any requirement of the applicable laws or regulations; to comply with the provisions of these Terms of Service, including to investigate possible infractions, identify or prevent fraud or technical or security incidents, or any other form of processing thereof, to protect the rights, property or security of WETAK, of our users or of the general public, to the extent required or permitted by the applicable law.

8. Modifications

Our privacy policy is subject to change at any time. We will not limit your rights under this Privacy Policy without your express consent. We will publish any changes to this Privacy Policy on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will issue a more prominent notice (for example, if the change affects certain services, we will notify you by email).
